Fashion Student Aleya De Leon initially came into The Photo Studio Australia to take her modeling skills to the next level. With a personal style she defines as ‘street and sporty’, she wanted to capture her relaxed but luxe look for the shoot.
“I’ve been doing fun photo shoots between my friends outside of the studio and thought it was time for a professional shoot to gain experience and have a glimpse into the industry.” Says Aleya.
“The styling choices of my outfits inspired from my personal style – outfits I would wear on the daily. I believe these fits really helped to emphasize my personality and character within the shoot, which is important to me as it showed me true self.”
Aleya muses that her brothers are some of her creative inspirations, often borrowing their clothes whenever she can. She also explores Instagram and Tumblr to find influences and fashion trends she can put her own twist on.
“Many different influencers such as Aleali May, Rachel Tyler, WeAreToThe9s – as well as unique posts – have always given me motivation to dream big and believe that anything is truly possible in our world.”
Just like the influencers she follows, Aleya wants everyone that sees her photos to understand that, no matter what their objectives in life, they have the potential and power to turn that dream into a reality.
“When people look at my photos, I hope they feel inspired to be themselves and to chase after their goals.”
“With that being said, they should never give up and continue their heart out passionately towards their chosen purpose.”
