11 Styling Tips For Older Women

Beauty Doesn't Age_0007

No matter your age, you should always be able to have fun and experiment with what you are wearing. A good outfit is an easy way to give you that extra boost of confidence, so it’s important to know what works well for you.  To help, we’ve come up with a list of 11 styling tips for older women that will highlight your assets and make you feel fabulous.

1. Scarves and Shawls

Scarves and shawls are a great way of hiding what many women may see as ‘problem arms’. These can be easily covered by draping a shawl over the shoulder and arms area to create an effortless look. Pairing it with a top in the right colour for your skin tone that is nicely fitted will 100% help. Scarves and shawls are a great finishing touch to an outfit and a good go to accessory.

2. Sleeves

On the topic of arms, a clever way of disguising these can be in the choice of sleeve you opt for. If you want a sleeve that creates shape, a good option is a 3/4 length sleeve or long, wide sleeves such as a bell sleeve. Lace sleeves are another alternative that give a feminine look, showing a touch of skin without over baring everything. Shoulders are a highlight feature for most women, so wearing a cold shoulder top to expose these is a great choice for that beautiful and modern look.

The styling and tips are great, but it would be even better to see these on slightly larger women as well eg size 12-14 Australian.
