Former model and present-day actress, Jacinda Barrett is another Brisbane model search winner. In 1988, Jacinda applied for the annual Dolly Magazine Covergirl contest and won, launching her career. She spent the beginning of her modelling career working across Europe. After transitioning into acting, Jacinda wed ‘Suits’ actor, Gabriel Macht. Jacinda has had regular appearances on the show as his character’s love interest.
Jacinda uses her Instagram to spread environmental awareness alongside positive reinforcement. “Brisbane is very much a part of me and all my family are in Australia still,” Jacinda said in an interview with Courier Mail.
Signed with Elite Model Management, Amanda Ware was the winner of Australia’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6. Her season sparked controversy during the final when runner-up Kelsey Martinovich was accidentally crowned the winner. Amanda graciously shared her prize with Kelsey and the pair appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Australia.
Amanda has since done campaigns with Bonds and Levis and walked runways during New York Fashion Week. Amanda shares her passion for yoga and fitness with her followers on Instagram, she also holds private classes for fellow models signed with Elite.
Brisbane born Levi Miller is a young model and actor. Well-known for his role as Pan in ‘Peter Pan’ (2015), Levi’s career is just getting started. Outside of acting, Levi is the current Global Ambassador for Ralph Lauren’s childrenswear campaign. He walked in the New York Fashion Week Show during 2015 and 2016.
His career as an actor is seemingly his primary focus as he continues to star in big films such as ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ and ‘Jasper Jones’ alongside Toni Collette and Hugo Weaving. We’re sure we’ll be seeing more of Levi as he represents Brisbane with his talent!
