HOPE FOR UKRAINE FUNDRAISING EVENT A SUCCESS WITH OVER $13,000 RAISED FOR UKRAINIANS IN NEED!
Hope For Ukraine fundraiser hosted at the newly announced location of The Photo Studio in Glebe hailed a success! With over 120 guests in attendance the team lead by our Ukrainian born Operations Manager Tetiana Tymofiiva were able to raise over $13,000. With the money raised bound for FFUN SDG-HELP UA, a UN charity helping war-affected families in Ukraine.
Attendees were greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival and spent the evening immersing themselves in Ukrainian art and culture. The night was filled with breathtaking art exhibitions and video installations. The Photo Studio photography team set up a pop up photography studio with incredibly styled photography sets, traditional Ukrainian styling and hair and make-up. The ambiance of the evening was highlighted by modern Ukrainian music and delicious food and beverages generously provided by the sponsors.
The Sydney Ukrainian and Creative communities came together for the night, notable attendees showcasing their support included Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Sydney Jaroslav Duma, Honorary Consul of Estonia in NSW Sulev Kalamae and Omer Incekara, Advisory Board Member from Multicultural NSW.
Heralded as a night to remember a big thank you from the organisers to all who donated art, services and clothing items and volunteered their time to set up such a fantastic event. A big cheer to ‘True Blue’ artists for joining the night with a huge selection of beautiful artworks! Of course a big thank you to all the sponsors – The Photo Studio, Dirty Red, Saint Wines, Young Henry’s, Glebe Hotel, IGA Dulwich Hill, Harry’s Wholesale Nursery and Flower Train whose generous donations made it possible to achieve such great results allowing the continued support for Ukrainian families in desperate need.
