Your height shouldn’t have to get in the way of achieving your dreams. With Melbourne Fashion Week around the corner, we want to keep inspiring diversity in the fashion industry by shedding light upon petite modelling.
There are so many aspiring models with incredible potential who agencies and brands are missing out on, simply because of height restrictions. If someone is an amazing model, shouldn’t they be given the same opportunities as everyone else?
It’s 2018 – measurements shouldn’t have to be a factor anymore. It’s time that the fashion industry welcomes petite models into their ranks – everyone deserves to be represented!
That’s why we’re giving one lucky person the opportunity to prove that you don’t need legs for days to take the industry by storm.

Q: Who may enter this competition?
A: Petite Model Search 2018 is open to anyone who lives in Sydney and Melbourne.
Q: How many times can I enter?
A: One (1) entry per person.
Q: Are there any height requirements?
A: Although this competition is focused on shedding light upon petite modelling, we don’t want to exclude anyone based on their height. There aren’t any height requirements.
Q: What about age? Is there a minimum or maximum age to enter?
A: No age restrictions either! However, if you’re under 18, we do suggest you talk to your parents before entering the competition.
Q: Do I need to send you photos?
A: We will be looking through your Instagram account, so there is no need to send photos. Just make sure you set your Insta account to public.
Q: Am I able to change my entry?
A: Once your entry has been submitted, it can’t be changed or edited.
Q: How will you select the winner?
A: The winner will be selected by a panel of judges.
Q: How many winners are you going to pick?
A: One (1) winner.
Q: When will you choose the winner?
A: We will announce the winner via Instagram and Facebook on September 8th, 2018.
Q: What is The Photo Studio Australia?
A: The Photo Studio is a fashion photography studio specializing in model portfolios for people of all ages, looks and backgrounds. The studio was founded in 2007 by renowned advertising photographer North Sullivan and is located in two chic warehouses studios in Sydney and Melbourne.
