What : Ravishing Fashionistas Runway and Crowning Ceremony is pulling out all the stops for this grand event. Get ready to experience Hollywood glamour as you witness first hand the crowning of Ms. Grand Universe 2020. But more than that, this fashion show is a glorious display of diversity and inclusivity. Girls of all shapes and sizes will strut with such confidence and sass that other catwalks lack. Also, part of the event’s profits will go to Dignifying Women, a non-profit organisation that shelters domestic abuse survivors.

What : The GCFP is here to prove that fashion is alive and well on The Gold Coast! On the first day, there will be the Signature Couture Fashion Show, which blends chic, high-end fabric with the unique twist of Gold Coast’s local tastes. On the second day is The Kids Fashion Show, which boasts Gold Coast’s very own creative kids’ designer labels. Better watch out, Melbourne, there might be a new fashion capital in town.

What : You can probably guess that the Brisbane European Fashion Festival’s aim is to promote European fashion trends to the Australian market. It is held on a high rise garden smack bang in the middle of Brisbane city. The city lights and breathtaking view of the Brisbane river lend the event an amazing backdrop like no other. If that doesn’t get you to check out BEFF, I don’t know what will.

What : Unlike most events, Runway Fashion Australia is not concerned about what’s in. They champion the unique over the mainstream. They are trendsetters not style stalkers. Their collection is bold, comes from a place of passion, and honestly reflects the designer’s identity. If these are what you also stand for, you and Runway Fashion Australia are a match made in heaven.

What : The MBFF shines a national spotlight on Queensland’s immense fashion talent. Their runway showcases the amazing work of local creatives. Not only can you marvel at the collections, you can also buy those that catch your eyes fresh off the catwalk. Sounds like a double win to me!
Look out for Brisbane Fashion Runway and Brisbane Fashion Month, too. They happen later on in the year, so there’s no information as of right now, but make sure you keep your eyes peeled!
