Primary School Teacher Ghazal Morad came into The Photo Studio Australia with the intention of creating a series of shots to empower her.
Describing her style as, “independent, unique, and sophisticated”, Ghazal worked to create a portfolio that was classical, playful and distinctive. As she explains, certain garments were chosen to express aspects of her personality.
“I love fashion, styling and looking my best. I have always believed that beautiful souls have positive auras, which attracts the people around them. This positive energy is manifested within the inner self, therefore imaging helps to portray the true reflection of the soul.” Says Ghazal.
“I have deliberately chosen certain looks via my outfits to send a strong message for my audience. The black and white cape symbolises true essence of individuality.”
Ghazal says that her biggest creative inspiration is the world around her. Being able to draw in inspiration from anywhere at any given time.
“I am deeply motivated and inspired by igniting my senses in what I see, feel and see. I then tune into my senses and create my own persona of styling. Symbolic themes such as fashion, nature and animals and surrounding environment has a huge impact on my fashion sense.”
Ghazal is encouraged by the idea her photos will really convey who she is as a person, allowing her character to shine through in each shot.
“I really strive to express who I truly am through my image. I want people to feel my presence, personality, identity and intertwine their souls with me. I hear them, I feel them, I see them – I reflect a part of them.”
“My spirit lingers to connect with other humans. I feel valuable, cherished and honoured to communicate with others. I feel unified and blessed when I reach out to people, animals and the environment. I shall continue to show inner strength and give back to the world without asking for anything in return.”
