There are so many aspiring models with incredible potential who agencies and brands are missing out on, simply because of height restrictions. If someone is an amazing model, shouldn’t they be given the same opportunities as everyone else? The fashion industry has achieved so much in the last few years. However, we have to keep pushing for change. Everyone deserves to be represented.

Q: Who may enter this competition?
A: Petite Model Search 2019 is open to anyone who lives in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Q: How many times can I enter?
A: One (1) entry per person.
Q: Are there any height requirements?
A: Although this competition is focused on shedding light upon petite modelling, we don’t want to exclude anyone based on their height. There aren’t any height requirements.
Q: What about age? Is there a minimum or maximum age to enter?
A: No age restrictions either! However, if you’re under 18, we do suggest you talk to your parents before entering the competition.
Q: Do I need to send you photos?
A: We will be looking through your Instagram account, so there is no need to send photos. Just make sure you set your Insta account to public.
Q: Am I able to change my entry?
A: Once your entry has been submitted, it can’t be changed or edited.
Q: How will you select the winner?
A: The winner will be selected by a panel of judges. The winner must submit all fields required to be eligible to win.
Q: How many winners are you going to pick?
A: One (1) winner.
Q: When will you choose the winner?
A: We will announce the winner via Instagram and Facebook on September 3rd, 2019.
Q: What is The Photo Studio Australia?
A: The Photo Studio is a fashion photography company based in Sydney and Melbourne specializing in modelling portfolios. We believe in the importance of representing people of all ages, backgrounds, sizes, and heights in the fashion industry.
Due to the sometimes unattainable beauty standards, we find that people are often too scared to jump in front of the camera because it might reveal their imperfections. This is where we come in and challenge that perception. Throughout The Photo Studio experience, our clients find power in vulnerability, learning to love every single angle.
The studio was founded in 2007 by renowned advertising photographer North Sullivan.
