13-year-old Chanel De Nobile’s dream is to be a professional model in the future. She explains, ‘I’d love to have my face in the front of a shop, or in a commercial for a clothing brand, or walk the runway strutting my stuff’. She hopes that people see her modelling potential in her photos. However, she is most excited for those closest to her to see that she is more than a ‘comfy tracksuit wearing girl with her hair always in a bun’. She used her photoshoot to show a different side to her that no one normally sees.

Chanel describes her style as a combination of classic, comfortable and trendy. She loves to dress up, but equally enjoys wearing comfy clothes, explaining ‘if I could wear tracksuits all day every day I would’. Her style is often inspired by her friends who she describes as ‘trendy and fashion forward’. Her celebrity style icon is Kendall Jenner. Chanel loves how Kendall ‘goes big when she needs to, but when she’s not dressing up she opts for comfy clothes’.

With the styling of her shoot she wanted to capture her creativity with her own twist. Chanel’s styling was simple and effortless, as she ‘didn’t want it to be over the top, I wanted it to be me’. Chanel’s photoshoot had 3 key looks, casual, streetwear and formal. For her casual look she wore a strapless black top with ripped light wash denim jeans. For her shoes she opted for black lace up combat boots. We love how she uses her denim jacket as a prop, throwing it over her shoulder in some shots. For her formal look, she opted for a classic black strapless jumpsuit that cinched in at her waist. Chanel sported a black tube top, black Nike slides and black pants with white racer stripes for her streetwear look. We love how she combined these casual pieces together to create an urban high fashion feeling in the photos.
