Alexia came to us for a photo shoot to build her modelling portfolio. She has had previous modelling experience, however wanted to take a bigger step into the modelling industry. She is 18 years old, and her dream is to have a successful career within both the modelling and acting industry.
Alexia describes her personal style as ‘trendy yet casual and comfy’. Her main source of creative inspiration when it comes to fashion is her mother, who she explains ‘has amazing taste in clothes’. For her shoot, Alexia brought together all her favourite clothing pieces which she was comfortable in and felt her best in.
Alexia had 3 key looks for her photo shoot: casual, semi-formal and formal. She opted for simple outfits and classic silhouettes to accentuate her figure. She had natural makeup, save for a subtle black cat eye and bronze eye shadow for all looks. For her casual look, Alexia sported ripped high waisted denim jeans and brown suede wedges. She alternated between an off the shoulder grey t-shirt and a strapless crimson top for the photos. We love how she chose to mix and match her tops but kept her denim jeans as a base. When you change your top, it can completely transform your look, whilst staying cool and casual. For her semi-formal look Alexia wore a maroon cocktail dress with nude lace up heels. She decided on a natural lip colour for this look to allow the dress to be the hero. Alexia wore a stunning floor length black dress with black heels for her formal look. She sported a vibrant red lip colour and played with accessories such as black Ray Ban sunglasses and a floppy black felt hat. We love how these accessories can really add personality to the final shots and allow the model to have fun with their poses.
Alexia hopes that people who look at her photos will ‘feel inspired to take on modelling and build up their confidence’. She hopes to be role model for people who want to get into a career such as modelling and acting. We are inspired by her drive to achieve her dreams.
