High School Student Cassandra Lubin came into The Photo Studio Australia after seeing a competition on Instagram, deciding it was time to take the next step.

“Modeling and taking pictures has always been something I’ve been interested in and passionate about, although I had never had enough motivation or confidence to do anything about it until The Photo Studio contacted me.” Says Cassandra.

While her day-to-day style is classically modern one day and alternative the next, Cassandra was eager to find a happy medium between these looks.

“I feel as though my style is always changing and I am always influenced and inspired by something new and making it my own.”

“[For the shoot] I was aiming to go for something casual and stylish, as well as something that I felt comfortable in. I also wanted to wear something that was a little out of my comfort zone, but something that still represented my personality.”

Cassandra says like many teenage girls, she takes creative inspiration from the many influences, models and artists on social media. However, she also takes inspiration from the world around her.

“I have always been a creative person myself and I feel that I draw inspiration from my surroundings, locations and the people around me a lot of the time. I am always looking to grow, change and try new things.”

Cassandra is hopeful that when people look at her photos they will be inspired to both try new things as well as just be themselves.

“I hope that people look at my photos and feel a spark for creativity for their own art, and feel the way I do when I look at someone else’s photos that I like. I hope there is the same feeling of passion and excitement that I felt about doing what I was doing and experience I had.”
